Lignacite produces a range of blocks, including high density blocks, medium density blocks, and low density blocks
Lignacite block is a medium dense block, which is smooth, around 25% lighter than other blocks, and is an accurately formed block.
Lignacite SP blocks weigh less than 20kgs, the HSE maximum block guideline weight.
Lignacrete is a dense block, with more open texture than other blocks, but is as dimensionally accurate as other blocks
Fibotherm is a lightweight block made from expanded clay aggregate and is as accuarate as other blocks. These blocks are only suitable for plastering
Lignacite offer a range of block standards:
Solid blocks: With these blocks, the mould is filled completely to produce a block unit
Hollow blocks: With these blocks, two cylindrical voids are formed throughout the unit, making the final block up to 25% lighter.
Cellular blocks: These blocks are similar to hollow blocks, but the top of the block has a thing web of concrete allowing these block units to be layed on a full bed of mortar.
Elongated unit blocks: These blocks are used generally where a dense block is required.
party wall blocks: These blocks are designed to be laid flat in the party wall scenario. These blocks have a very low unit weight.
