Lignacite produces a range of building blocks, including high density building blocks, medium density building blocks, and low density building blocks
Lignacite building block is a medium dense building block, which is smooth, around 25% lighter than other building blocks, and is an accurately formed building block.
Lignacite SP building blocks weigh less than 20kgs, the HSE maximum building block guideline weight.
Lignacrete is a dense building block, with more open texture than other building blocks, but is as dimensionally accurate as other building blocks
Fibotherm is a lightweight building block made from expanded clay aggregate and is as accuarate as other building blocks. These building blocks are only suitable for plastering
Lignacite offer a range of building block standards:
Solid building blocks: With these building blocks, the mould is filled completely to produce a building block unit
Hollow building blocks: With these building blocks, two cylindrical voids are formed throughout the unit, making the final building block up to 25% lighter.
Cellular building blocks: These building blocks are similar to hollow building blocks, but the top of the building block has a thing web of concrete allowing these building block units to be layed on a full bed of mortar.
Elongated unit building blocks: These building blocks are used generally where a dense building block is required.
party wall block building blocks: These building blocks are designed to be laid flat in the party wall scenario. These building blocks have a very low unit weight.
